The Los Angeles Lakers Are Going To The 2020 NBA Finals!!!

Man. The year 2020 has been terrible nine months in, and the remaining ones don’t hold much promise. A little glimmer of hope for me, and Lakers fans around the world, is that the team is back in NBA Finals — 10 years after LA’s last championship in 2010 against the Boston Celtics.

Congrats to the 2019 NBA Champions Toronto Raptors! (Also, The Offseason Has Arrived)

The Toronto Raptors beat the Golden State Warriors 114-110 to win the 2019 NBA Championship. Kawhi Leonard, who is set to become a top free agent come July 1st, was named Finals MVP. How will this victory affect his Free Agency decision? The Lakers are among his numerous suitors, so the next few weeks should be interesting.

2019 NBA Playoffs: Eastern Conference First Round Predictions

I previously discussed my Western Conference First Round predictions for the 2019 NBA Playoffs. This post will be for my Eastern Conference predictions. Let’s get right on to it. Milwaukee Bucks wins 4-0 The Detroit Pistons had to win its very last game of the regular season to qualify for the playoffs. 2019 NBA Playoffs Predictions: Western Conference First Round

The 2019 NBA Playoffs are here! For the sixth straight year, my favorite team for the past 19 years, the Los Angeles Lakers, is not a participant. Where Do The Lakers Go From Here?

What was supposed to be a season of rejuvenation and high expectations for the Los Angeles Lakers turned into one of its most disappointing. After LeBron James, through Klutch Sports’ Twitter account, announced his intent to sign with the NBA glamour franchise, fans, media people, and even NBA players proclaimed that “the Lake Show isContinueContinue reading “Where Do The Lakers Go From Here?”

These Laker Kids Are Figuring It Out

The LA Lakers have been one of the best teams in the league since the start of 2018, going 20-12 the past three months. After a slow start in October, the Purple and Gold have steadily improved game in and game out. Their offensive rating has risen considerably without defense, which was already solid to begin with, being compromised. At the heart of this improvement is the beast that goes by the name of Julius Randle. The future is bright for a team that fell on hard times after being so used to winning throughout the decades.

Happy Birthday, Tim!

One of the greatest basketball players to have ever played the game is celebrating his birthday today! Let’s all greet San Antonio Spurs big man Tim Duncan a happy 38th birthday!!! I’ve despised Tim’s Spurs for most of the past 10 years or so because of their rivalry with my Los Angeles Lakers, but I’veContinueContinue reading “Happy Birthday, Tim!”

2014 NBA Playoffs Predictions: First Round

Western Conference 1 SAS vs. 8 DAL (Spurs swept season series 4-0) Spurs  in 5. San Antonio is too good right now and too motivated by last year’s Finals disappointment to lose to an average team in the first round. The Mavs just don’t have the tools to derail the Spurs and pull off an upset.ContinueContinue reading “2014 NBA Playoffs Predictions: First Round”
