Batanes Vlogs (Redux)

Remember almost three years ago I wrote about my misadventures in Batanes? Well, the end of that post had a YouTube playlist of “vlogs” of said misadventures. I had no clue about video editing at that time, which is more than evident in both the aesthetics and actual #content of the videos themselves.

Fret not, for in the years that followed, my video editing skills have been upgraded to “intermediary” — meaning while I am not ready to edit the next Oscar-winning movie, I am more than competent to make YouTube-worthy videos.

Another GarinFarm Pilgrimage Resort Appreciation Post, But With Video.

The difference between this GarinFarm post from the last one I made is that a uploaded a video on YouTube of my most recent visit and embedded it here!

Very Friendly Bikers of Oton x Patrick Kennan Vlog

The Very Friendly Bikers of Oton had a fun ride/mini vacation at Mambukal Mountain Resort in Murcia, Negros Occidental, as detailed in my previous post. The group biked all the way from Oton, Iloilo to the Iloilo City jetty port in Lapuz, crossed the sea via fastcraft to Bacolod City, then biked again from the port in Bacolod to Mambukal — a good 30 kilometer ride.

Patrick Kennan in Tagaytay

Tagaytay is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Philippines, regardless of the time of the year one chooses to visit the city. There are literally hundreds of blogs, vlogs, and articles that discuss Tagaytay in great detail, so I’m going to skip that part and just talk about my personal experiences there.

Batanes Misadventures

Batanes is a gorgeous mix of cliffs, beaches, mountains, forests and grasslands. If Pokémon were real, Batanes would be swarming with them. I got to visit and experience everything the mini-archipelago had to offer, and this post tells of the events that happened.
Plus! The vlog videos I promised before are found at the end of the the post, which is rather lengthy.

Patrick Kennan in… Venice?!

Now that I got your attention with some classic sOciAL mEDiA iNfLuEnCeR click-bait title, I didn’t really go to Venice, as in THE Venice in Italy. Rather, this post is about Venice Mall in Taguig City. I admit it is very unbecoming to post about a mall… I mean, it’s a mall, who cares? I’m inclined to agree with this 99% of the time, but Venice Mall is just different. For one, it has a freaking canal inside the mall itself complete with Italian gondolas.

Summer (Capital), Man

Summer came early for me, as I got to visit the Summer Capital of Iloilo! I’m no longer a part of the 1% of Ilonggos who’ve never been there. Read on, my dudes.

Patrick Kennan in Siquijor

One of the most enchanting places I’ve visited is Siquijor Island in the southern Philippines.
One does not need to believe the supernatural for them to enjoy the atmosphere in a purported supernatural island. Indeed the people enjoy their identity and have in fact embraced it. Just by looking around, their is this… delightful ambiance that I have a hard time putting in to words. Whatever it is, it was enough to charm even a cynic like me.

Byaheng Pandays: Iloilo Edition (Part 3)

It’s Day 3 of the Byaheng Pandays! They’ve finished exploring Guimaras island, and are headed back to Iloilo to get another round of what the City of Love has to offer. Read on, my dudes!
