The Lakers, a team with a 60 year history of winning basketball, has fallen on hard times of late, missing the playoffs for four (will most likely be five counting this year; more on that in a second) consecutive years — the most in team history.
However, this year’s squad has changed that outlook and has brought back something that was long gone in the purple and gold hearts of fans — hope.

Getting Physical Again
Today, I managed to join in my first long-distance bike ride since 2014. Four years is a long time and I forgot how great biking early in the morning felt.
The Great LeBron Debate
LeBron James is the best basketball player in the planet and to have him on your team is obviously a very, very good thing. But oddly, some Lakers fans don’t want him to wear the Purple and Gold. If you’re one of those fans, I have a question: Why???

One of the greatest basketball players to have ever played the game is celebrating his birthday today! Let’s all greet San Antonio Spurs big man Tim Duncan a happy 38th birthday!!! The Mavs just don’t have the tools to derail the Spurs and pull off an upset.ContinueContinue reading “2014 NBA Playoffs Predictions: First Round”

The Aftermath: Remembering The Day Kobe Went Down
On this day a year ago, I was in my room watching the Lakers take on the Warriors as the two teams tried to secure favorable playoff berths in the ultra-competitive Western Conference. Everyone playing showed heart but no one showed it more than the Black Mamba, Kobe Bryant (as usual). Prior to the fourth quarter, he hadContinueContinue reading “The Aftermath: Remembering The Day Kobe Went Down”
My Rant On The Undertaker Losing At Wrestlemania 30
Yes, pro-wrestling is scripted. However, it’s not as simple as people assume it is and let me clarify that issue before proceeding with my rant. All those arguments, rivalries and cussing one another are scripted (though sometimes pro-wrestlers have real life issues with one another). Of course it would be bad for a company ifContinueContinue reading “My Rant On The Undertaker Losing At Wrestlemania 30”
