I was up at 3AM reading this long ass thread on Twitter about how a trans-woman from Cebu named Jzan got catfished by some person from Manila named Sam Morales. Same Morales is a horrible person based on the account of her victim.

Dark Thoughts For Dark Times 4
Today was the day that the Iloilo Provincial Government announce that it would put the entire province under lockdown due to the threat of the Coronapocalypse. The lockdown would take effect on March 17th, where Iloilo would prevent the entry of non-residents in its borders (with exceptions, of course, such as those in the medicalContinueContinue reading “Dark Thoughts For Dark Times 4”
Tensions Rise Between US, Iran Over Assassination of Top Iranian Military Officer Three Days Into The New Year
It’s literally just the third day of the new year, and tension over global politics is already boiling. Qassem Soleimani, a top Iranian military officer, was killed today in an drone strike at Baghdad International Airport in Iraq. News broke out that U.S. President Donald Trump ordered the assassination. And in true Social Media Age fashion, the internet was then flooded with World War 3 memes because of course.
Silence is the Enemy 2020
The New Year is here! Not only is 2020 a new year, but it’s also a new decade (assuming you subscribe to the Julian calendar, anyway). While everything may seem all new and shiny, one thing remains the same: Silence is still the enemy. Happy new year!
New Series: Countdowns
I hate and love countdowns — love because I enjoy watching/reading about other people’s preferences of one thing over the other, but also I suck at doing it because I feel like I love things equally. What was once a season full of optimism and hope thatContinueContinue reading “The 2018-2019 Lakers Season Is Finished”

Back in September 2011, my Political Science class had a field trip in Metro Manila to visit the various locations where each branch of the government held their offices in (Malacañang, the Senate and House of Representatives, and the Supreme Court). That trip itself would make a fine story on its own, and let’s saveContinueContinue reading “Story Time: Brush With High Society Snobs”
What Infuriates Me About “Influencers”
As a blogger since 2006-2007, I have plenty of opinions regarding today’s breed or bloggers/vloggers/social media influencers. And with ~that post~ by a certain “influencer” going viral the other day, I felt the need to give my two cents. Brace yourself, this is a looooong ass read
Hot Take: Live Action Superhero Movies Don’t Give Me The Same Thrill Comic Books Do
I’ve been a comic book fan for a few years now, and I’ve amassed an okay-ish amount of physical and digital comics during that time. As my social media feeds suggest (as well as actual conversations with me), I would like to believe that I have enough nerd credibility to discuss this hot take ofContinueContinue reading “Hot Take: Live Action Superhero Movies Don’t Give Me The Same Thrill Comic Books Do”
