Non-Pro Quarterly Finance Tracker

I made an Excel sheet that helps manage and track finances, from listing expenditures to detailing the amount of cash you have in your name at a given time. As a self-taught and non-professional finance bro, this sheet is basic and works specifically for me, but if it can help YOU, dear reader, then it would be the cherry on top of the cake.

Check the tracker out and see if it works, and if not, maybe show it to a friend. Who knows if it might work for them?

I’m Back!

It’s been two long ass years since I last posted anything on here. So much has changed, and yet things feel more or less the same. Whatever reasons I may have for ignoring this blog is moot, but I’m here to announce (not that it’s of any importance to anyone) that I am back and will once again try to be more consistent in posting stuff.

Small Town Thinking

The point of all this is, I think I’ll write about all the typical bullshit mindset prevalent among the denizens of small towns. Also, just to clarify, I don’t intend this to be an indictment of how horrible rural people are. Obviously, the worst of our species reside in both rural and urban environments. It’s likely that more good-natured people with good intentions exist in these communities than the truly terrible ones. The issue here is the acceptance of problematic traits, and how they’re considered a normal way of life.

What Infuriates Me About “Influencers”

As a blogger since 2006-2007, I have plenty of opinions regarding today’s breed or bloggers/vloggers/social media influencers. And with ~that post~ by a certain “influencer” going viral the other day, I felt the need to give my two cents. Brace yourself, this is a looooong ass read

Today is the Ides of March, March 15 in the Roman calendar. Though it is a day of various religious celebrations by the ancient Romans, the Ides of March is known in modern times to be the date of the assassination of Roman dictator Julius Caesar by members of the Roman Senate, including his BFFContinueContinue reading “Ides of March”

Happy Pi Day!

Today we celebrate Pi Day, the day dedicated to the “number π (/paɪ/), a mathematical constant. Originally defined as the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, it now has various equivalent definitions and appears in many formulas in all areas of mathematics and physics” (definition taken from Wikipedia). In case you didn’t get ~why~ today is Pi Day, it’s because today is March 14,ContinueContinue reading “Happy Pi Day!”

Happy International Women’s Day

Today is International Women’s Day, a day to celebrate all the incredible women of the world. For much of history, women have been treated as mere properties of men who have no true purpose but to satisfy the whims of their supposed masters. This couldn’t be any further from the truth. Time and time again,ContinueContinue reading “Happy International Women’s Day”
