I’m Back!

Hello, all!

It’s been two long ass years since I last posted anything on here. So much has changed, and yet things feel more or less the same. Whatever reasons I may have for ignoring this blog is moot, but I’m here to announce (not that it’s of any importance to anyone) that I am back and will once again try to be more consistent in posting stuff.

Hopefully, the fact that this blog is now a fully blow website now will be a motivator for me to accomplish the goal of getting my thoughts back where they belong — on the internet for all the world to see. It also would be a nice way to shake off the rust that’s been enveloping the creative side of my mind these past few years. This is basically the writer’s version of “shooting out of a slump” in basketball.

Sooooooooooooooooooooo… with that in mind, I’ll just list some of the expectations I have of this revamped website/blog. These aren’t lofty goals, mind you, as this is merely a personal shtick but I guess this is a nice practice in accountability where you deliver on a promise to yourself. Here it goes:

• At least one text post every two weeks – I will make effort to submit at least one text post every two weeks. This is basically a thought dump, whatever is on my mind will be vomited in text form as a way of tension release, creative practice, and some other third category that I can’t think of just yet.
• At least one media post every week – I will make effort to submit at least one media post, be it a photo post, an embedded video post, or a Music Mondays post because I still want to make that a thing.
• Eventually reach a point where I am fully satisfied with the website’s aesthetics – kind of self-explanatory.
• Promote this website more – I will find a way to promote my personal website, whether it’s through subtle means or outright shoving it down people’s throats. I paid money for the domain and web hosting, I will make sure I get my money’s worth.
• Make it interactive – Of course, it would nice to have people engage in the site. What are they supposed to do on here besides read every depressing thought on the blog? I’m learning web design on the fly so this should be interesting.

I don’t know know how to end this post, so I’ll just say “remember to eat your vegetables and wash your genitals, ladies and gentlemen.” Thank you for reading.
