ProTek people have come to fix our Fibr line. ProTek is PLDT’s subcontractor that handles the actual, laborious aspect of telecommunication companies. The technician couldn’t find the damage in the fiber cables, so they pretty much had to do a “re-lining”, his term, which is pretty much like them installing your line for the first time all over again.
The ProTek people are severely undermanned right now because of the Coronapocalypse, and as much as I want to get mad at PLDT for taking a long arse time (damage happened on March 10 when a cement mixer truck tore through the telephone lines hanging across a national road) to fix our line, I understand their plight. Fortunately the problem got fixed. That’s all that matters.
