Dark Thoughts For Dark Times 4

Today was the day that the Iloilo Provincial Government announce that it would put the entire province under lockdown due to the threat of the Coronapocalypse. The lockdown would take effect on March 17th, where Iloilo would prevent the entry of non-residents in its borders (with exceptions, of course, such as those in the medical field, government officials, and people involved in the delivery of basic goods.

Iloilo residents are given a two-day buffer period to come home (starting today until the 17th) and non-residents to get out (especially tourists who do not wish to be stuck here during the lockdown).

I went to PLDT to report an issue with our internet connection and the city was empty, or at least the streets were. People were in markets and grocery stores stocking up on things — very apocalyptic vibes, to be honest.
