In a few minutes, Manny Pacquiao is going to face Tim Bradley for the second time. Bradley beat Pacquiao two years ago. You can be sure lots of people will be betting either for Manny or for Bradley. Personally, I think betting on sports — regardless of what that sport is, football, basketball, boxing, etc, — is bullshit. Sports should be a way for which a person could enjoy him/herself as well as exercise his/her body, not as a tool for rich ass people to get even richer. It’s just stupid and it destroys the essence of why sports is played. Betting on an athlete/team doesn’t mean you’re rooting/supporting him/her/them. You’re just using them for your personal entertainment and to gain money. When you support someone, you do so with all your heart, not because millions of dollars are at stake.
